NetSim 10 Released | Updated for CCNPv5

NetSim 10.0 is now available! This is a major update and the first of many to bring NetSim up to CCNPv5.

Application changes include updates to our License Server content distribution services, international keyboard support, and several minor bug fixes.

Updates to the routing and switching engine cover several new protocols and features including: Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN), Next-Hop Resolution Protocol (NHRP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) Named Configuration Mode, Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) Authentication, and improvements or bug fixes to DHCP, EIGRP, EIGRPv6, IPSec, and Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE).

Updates to content include minor usability improvements to most all ICND1 and ICND2 labs as well as 10 new labs which are broken down below:

ICND2:

  • Multipoint Frame Relay

ROUTE:

  • DMVPN Phase 1
  • DMVPN Phase 2
  • DMVPN Phase 3
  • DMVPN Security
  • EIGRP Named Mode
  • Optimizing EIGRP in Named Mode I
  • Optimizing EIGRP in Named Mode II

SWITCH:

  • HSRP Authentication

TSHOOT:

  • Troubleshooting HSRP Authentication
